The constitution is certainly the most influential legal document in existence today. It was created over 200 years ago, and over 100 countries use it as a basis for their own. The constitution is also a living document, and is one of the worlds oldest surviving constitutions. It was made to adapt to the fast paced changing world, but it’s basic concepts have virtually not been changed since its inception; it has also been unchallenged. Many people still continue to quarrel over its interpretation, but no one ever questions the wisdom of its underlying principles.
