The US constitution is one of the most powerful and oldest legal documents known to date. It was created about 200 years ago and over a hundred countries use it as a structure of their own. There are some very interesting facts about the Constitution. Pennsylvania is missing a “n” above the signers’ name. George Washington and James Madison were the only presidents who signed the Constitution. Also the word “democracy” does not appear once in the Constitution. There were seventy individuals who were invited to attend the meetings but only thirty-nine delegates actually signed the Constitution. The oldest person to sign the Constitution was Benjamin Franklin who was eighty-one and the youngest Jonathan Dayton who was twenty-six.
