Whitney’s Constitution Facts

-Constitution Day is celebrated every year on September 17th.

-The Constitution was “penned” by Jacob Shallus.

-Benjamin Franklin was the oldest person to sign the Constitution.

-George Washington and Benjamin Franklin were the only two presidents to sign The Constitution.

-It took 100 days to actually frame The Constitution.

-The Constitution does not set fourth requirements for the right to vote.

-The word “others” used in The Constitution is used to categorize ethic minorities.
