Senior Captains Honored

Two Indian Creek senior captains led the Indian Creek Football Team to another successful year on the field and off the field as well. These captains are Jonathan Dailey and Zach Williams. Jonathan Dailey has played football all four years in high school and lettered three years in varsity. He also received First Team Eastern District Ohio Division 4 for defense and The Quad County Award. He received Honorable Mention All-State and Academic All-Ohio, which are two prestigious awards. Jonathan was also nominated as a player for WTOV 9’s Defensive Blocks of Granite.

Zach Williams also had a successful senior year on and off the field. Zach was also a senior captain that lettered for three years. Zach received First Team Eastern District Ohio Division 4 for offensive line,and First Team OVAC, which is an honor. He was accepted to play in The Quad County game and will participate in The OVAC game too. Zach’s biggest honors were Third Team All-State for offensive line and Academic All-Ohio. He has also been honored to be on The Athletic Wall of Fame at Indian Creek. Zach was also nominated for WTOV 9’s Offensive Blocks of Granite.

Jonathan and Zach led the Indian Creek Redskins to yet another winning season at a record of 7-4. They also got the honor of making and playing in the playoffs against Steubenville, who was a state runner up this year.
